Fresh Migration

 Australia needs skilled workers!

As Australia has come through the Global Financial Crisis in a stronger position than most other economies skill shortages in many industries are expected to continue.

Australia’s population is also expected to grow quite significantly over the next 20 years and we will need many new skilled workers to help ease the financial effects associated with both an aging population and sustained economic growth.

There is probably no better time to migrate to Australia!

Pathways to Permanent Residency
If you are a skilled professional, trades-person or a student graduating from an Australian educational institution, you may qualify for a skilled visa.

In addition to general health and character requirements, your application will be assessed in terms of the following criteria:

• Age
• English ability
• Qualifications
• Occupation
• Recent work experience
• Sponsorship eligibility, if applicable

Points are allocated for each criterion, with the total score required to meet the ‘pass mark’ for eligibility to apply for the following visas.

Independent Skilled Visas
These visa options are for those applicants who satisfy the necessary criteria solely on their own skill, education and occupations that are currently in demand around Australia.

Sponsored Skilled Visas
You may qualify for these provisional and permanent visas if you have a close relative who is prepared to sponsor you, or possible sponsorship through individual Australian States and Territories who have identified particular skill shortages in their specific regional areas.

Skilled Graduate Visa
If you have recently attained a qualification form an Australian education provider, you may be eligible to apply for this provisional visa with a view to further apply for a permanent visa.

Employer Sponsored Skilled Visas
Provisional and permanent visas are available to those applicants sponsored by an Australian employer who cannot fill a position with an Australian worker or by training Australian workers.

Temporary Residency
Skilled workers may be eligible for temporary residency through sponsorship by either Australian or overseas businesses for a period of up to four years. The eligibility criteria is slightly relaxed for this temporary visa, however, you will need to satisfy a higher level of eligibility should you subsequently apply for further residency.
